Who helps your child feel safe, brave and included while living with food allergies?
Immunity Group Australia is pleased to support the Allergy Microbiome Foundation’s independently run Food Allergy Hero campaign by sharing a special stand-alone activity created for younger children.
University student interns supporting the initiative developed the printable activity to give children a fun, creative way to recognise the everyday heroes in their lives. It was designed especially for children aged three and over, with simple instructions, colourful superheroes, and plenty of space for drawing. ✏️🌟
A food allergy hero might be:
- A parent who carefully checks every food label
- A friend who remembers to ask whether something is safe, or who surprises with an allergy-safe gift or inclusive activity
- A teacher who creates an inclusive classroom
- A doctor, nurse or pharmacist who listens and provides support
- A sibling who always looks out for them
- Or even the child themselves! 💙
How to take part 🖍️
- Download and print the A4 activity sheet below.
- Ask your child to draw their food allergy hero.
- Help them complete the short sentences about who their hero is and why they are special. A parent or guardian can write down the child’s words.
- Photograph or scan the completed page and email it to foodallergyheroesAMF@gmail.com by 8 October 2026.
Please include the child’s first name and age, together with a parent or guardian’s name and contact details in the email. For privacy and safety, children should not write their surname, home address, school name or medical information on the activity sheet.
A special prize for the winning entry 🏆
The winning child will receive a gift voucher and a special Food Allergy Hero award. The winner will also be announced at the Allergy Microbiome Foundation’s Food Allergy Gala fundraiser on 21 October 2026.

This is a stand-alone children’s activity, and families do not need to attend the Gala to participate.
ImGA’s supporting role 🤝
The Allergy Microbiome Foundation independently manages and administers this campaign. Immunity Group Australia is participating as a supporting organisation by helping families in our community discover and enjoy the activity.
The campaign is separate from ImGA’s programs and services. We support it because recognising the people who help children navigate food allergies can encourage confidence, gratitude, inclusion, and self-advocacy.
Download the printable activity sheet below and let your child’s imagination take over! 🌈🦸♂️
